I have been receiving a few emails, phone calls from customers reporting their hedgehogs are acting "funny"....not unballing, grumpy, etc.  These issues have been resolved with warming up the hedgies on heating pads. 

It is very important to remember to have an extra heat source is needed for these little guys and even just a few degrees can make a difference.  Purchase a heating pad and keep it under one side of the cage, offering the hedgehog the opportunity to access the extra warmth if he/she should get cold.
