Would like your opinion....

I have a few goals for Pierce's Pogs this year.  The first one is accomplished - our new improved hedgehog room.  But another one is that I wanted to do something to set us apart from other breeders in quality of our animals and service.  I have been in talks with our vet and am considering offering a "well baby checkup" at 7wks for every baby born at Pierce's Pogs.  I think this would benefit the babies as well as the new owners in that they would not need to worry about a yearly check up til the hedgehog's first birthday and it would allow new owners to have an established relationship with an excellent hedgehog vet in the area through which they could continue on as a patient.  This would however result in a price increase to cover the price of the vet visit.  I am awaiting to hear what our group rate would be from the vet and then would incorporate that cost into the cost of each baby.  I dont imagine it would be very much and it would be much cheaper than if a new owner purchased the baby and took it to a vet themselves.

We would be the only hedgehog breeder that I know of that would offer this service.

So I would love to hear your feedback on this...do you think this is a good idea?  Would you be willing to see a slight price increase for this service?  What would you like to see in the ways of paperwork from the vet visit for your baby?  thanks for your help
